Once you have your baby your “I will let my kid do this” and “I won’t let my kid do that” will drastically change. ❤️

Feel abandoned after 15 minutes of crying and that’s why they eventually just sleep because they try to sleep away to the pain… my heart can’t do that, snuggles it is

i read in multiple places, that the cry it out method = baby blacks out from stress & that’s why they eventually stop crying. I’ve never done this.

Once they hit 4 months old they do start the fake crying and whining BUT by then you can tell the difference between a fake cry and baby actually crying! My daughter sucks her binky and falls right

Basically they don’t have the ability to self soothe when they are that little so they are left traumatized when left to cry it out at a young age

I believe people say you shouldn’t let your kid cry it out before 6 month? I started sleep training my son at 7 months doing the 5 minute check in.

Cry it out method was put simply; would you want to be left in a room to cry alone? Babies don’t know anything but us and they don’t know they are their own person until 9+ months.

There is a video from a doctor . She says there is no “self soothing “ it’s basically their brain shutting down and disconnecting from their surroundings. I’ll try to find it and send to you .

when babys/infants cry themselves to sleep its not because they learn to self-soothe but bc they shut down when they face extensive distress🥲
