Mine was a split but the lay out had a coat closet and room for a bench with shoe storage so i liked it lol the stairs were left to right instead

I grew up in a split. I thought a colonial meant I “upgraded”. My house is older than my childhood split. I realize now it’s more about upgrading.

Pretty sure this is a bi-level, not a split. Split levels usually have at least 3 levels.
