Agree, but the hard truth is that depending on the specialty: anesthesia/surgery, these work hours are the norm in rural areas

Yeah! That’s true. That’s how mistakes are made. I’ve seen it over and over. I worked at teaching hospitals and I risk my license constantly. 😠 it’s an abuse to the residents and patients.
