@heavenlyhomeschool: Replying to @Sherise Homeschooling all year long — sound crazy?? Actually this has lessened the load on me as a homeschool mom. I plan our homeschool lessons 3 weeks in advance and we take a week break every month. So the whole month is basically planned. I take the homeschool curriculums and I separate them into 3 week sections — and since we take a week break every month, it still almost equates to 180 days like the public school system. But check your state homeschool laws!! Some states require homeschoolers to school for a specific amount of hours and days per year. #homeschooltok #homeschoolschedule #howtohomeschool #homeschoollaws #statehomeschoollaws #floridahomeschool #whyhomeschool #homeschooltips #homeschooladvice #homeschoolmom #homeschoolroutine #homeschoolcurriculum #bestcurriculum #learning
how do I grade or is it required having doubts both kids are kindergarten with TGB curriculum

I decided on year round because I just wanted freedoms to do things whenever we want. We’re in Texas, so we’re good.

Would you only go based on the HSLDA site. That site doesn’t mention specific hrs for the state of RI but they also have a state dept of education site that does say 5 1/2 needed to be done🤔

what if this is what our state says (Your homeschool must operate on a regular schedule for at least nine calendar months each year, except for “reasonable holidays and vacations.”) can 3-1 work?
