shaytān makes you fear poverty ↓ Because how can you fear poverty When you are the servant of The Most Rich Allāh is al-Ghaniyy الغني He is The One who is self-sufficient and independent. He is The One whose wealth and riches all others depend on. Once upon a time I thought being rich meant having a lot of money. By 22 I saved up $100k in cash. Most people my age would think I was "rich". But I sure didn't feel it. Ngl it felt nice to have that financial security. But I was poor. Poor in time. Poor in religion. Poor in health. Poor in family. Poor in mind. Poor in purpose. I wasn't really focused on bettering my religion. I just did what was necessary. Then I went to 'Umrah and it completely changed my perspective on what it meant to be rich. The man who spent all his savings to come here was rich. The woman playing with her kids on the green carpet was rich. The husband lying down on his wife's lap reciting the Qur'ān was rich. I came back to New York and hated what I saw. I let go of my 6-figure job. I went all in and opened up an islāmic halāl business. It was so so so scary. But I trusted Allāh. Now? No 9-5. I can travel when I want. I can pay for my family's 'Umrah. I can pray & read Qur'an whenever I want. I can stay up the last 10 nights of Ramadan without worrying about work. I don't have to interact with non-mahram in the office. I can save and build wealth for my future kids. I can build schools and orphanages. Alhamdulillah. All praises to The Most High! This was all because I changed the definition of being rich in my mind. I put religion first. And leveraged the power of social media. Giving expands the soul. Greed shrinks it. If you want to learn more about how I built two 6-figure brands online In a halāl way Check my profile for the 🔗 to my free letters. . . . 🎶 vocals only
