@jadeakamarre: What is my motivation as an Aboriginal artist and gallery owner? Well, here’s a small snippet of exactly that. I could elaborate in to a novel on what motivates me but the core value and purpose is family, culture and history. We have 4 generations of family members painting and tell their dreamtime stories that have been passed down for centuries. It is certainly no walk in the park, defending your culture all the time and making your mark in this world but we continue to keep our heads held high and be as loud and proud as we can be of our Aborignal culture 💫 Being out on country is always one of my favourite places to be. No matter how hard the workshops are or how hot the weather is or how long the drive is - stepping foot out there with no phone range, endless stories and bush tucker is a blessing.
