Wouldn’t one need Myofunctional therapy afterwards? My son got a frenectomy (I know it’s different) but it helped with the snoring a lot and also helped him keep his mouth sealed properly.

My expansion has helped nasal breathing but doc never guaranteed elimination of OSA. I had started myo before anyhow. Harder with the bar in the upper palate tho

We did ALF with our son (beginning at age 7) but they then said he’d need expansion which he started at 11. We were told to wait on Myo until expander
