Why is it that if man dates a women less attractive than him, everyone brings up hypergamy and is mad at the girl when it’s literally the man’s choice to date her? If he’s choosing to date her then he finds her attractive (attractiveness is subjective). When a women dates a man less attractive than her. People are either unbothered saying “cute couple”, “happy for him” or they bring up how hypergamy isn’t just based off looks. I saw a comment say that hypergamy doesn’t only imply to looks when there was a picture of Adriana Lima and her husband. They said it isn’t hypergamy because her husband is tall, rich and famous. This makes no sense because Adriana Lima is literally skinny, significantly richer and more famous than him? Not to mention, why won’t they bring it up for when there’s a man dating a women less attractive than him? He could also be dating her because she’s rich. Hypergamy is clearly misogynistic. Women are shamed whether they are dating an attractive man or a non attractive man. Stop assuming that every women wants a “6’4 chad” as if it’s not the same for men? Is it not normal for a person to want someone attractive? It quite literally goes both ways yet only women are attacked for it. If you are a secure man then you won’t feel deeply offended when you see a girl with preferences because you can have your own too. Stop acting like the reason you can’t find love is because “women have high standards” when the reason is that you’re a misogynist who believes in stupid terms made by the media to cause hate and tension between both genders. I don’t support women shaming men for their height and I don’t support men shaming women for their hipdips. Hypergamy is stupid, let people love who they love. #hypergamy #lookism #bp #sexism #fyp
