We had an HOA notify us they’d decided to remove a fence and if we had objections we should attend the meeting. The notification came the day AFTER the meeting.

Our hoa wanted to go to court cause my dad created a walk way on our property. Told him to file paperwork and when he did they told him they lost it and we’d have to destroy the walk way or go tocourt

If the CC&Rs specifically state what you have is not allowed you need permission in writing before doing it. It’s the owners resp. to review their gov docs and rules and be familiar with them.

Your board/admin needs to give you all times for all meetings. I have been on HOA’s boards as a admin side for a few years. We always do this.
