For every person saying they’d never spend $300 on a tee, I bet you have some niché item you like that you have paid or would pay a premium for, in which a majority of others would consider overpriced or not worth it…but it’s worth it to you because you’re either a fan of said item or you’re buying into what owning said item makes you feel and/or represents to you. That’s how fashion works—the people spending money on shirts like this usually know the product itself is not fundamentally “worth the price” but they are enthusiasts of the brand, culture, or the concept of what owning a piece of it represents…or whether we like it or not, there are also some people who are simply well off enough to spend that much and not think twice about it, simply because they can. 🤷🏽♂️
