I drive an ambulance and he is right. We can’t force anyone to go through a red light so we hang back, sirens off, blue lights still on and when light goes green sirens back on.

I moved out of the way for a police car at a red light, just short of going over it, when they did eventually pass by they give me a really dirty look

I think this is a ridiculous rule as long as you can do it safely you should be able to cross the lights to the side because those seconds can make a difference if there’s an emergency.

Take it 2 court if u jump red light. let court decide if you are a “criminal” if you are then tell everyone it’s illegal to move for blue lights
