I did Hondas cam phaser replacement on a 2012 crv, unload tensioner,then unbolt cam saddles. It worked but it was sketchy

Do you know if you can do this with the newer 3.6l like in the 2019 Durango the Intake cam and rockers are different

this is by far the safest way. but you don't have to loosen the chain. the tool in between the gears you are using will hold it. just slide gears off
