I hateee buffing so I use a matte top coat, cure, wipe very well with alcohol, and start the designs. The chrome doesn’t stick to the matte parts 🙌🏼

i just figured out too, i wipe the whole nail with acetone before doing the design and it wont stick to the rest of the nail, only what you design after wiping with acetone if that makes sense

Is your black gel not tacky? I find that when I do it this way it doesn’t give the actual “chrome” affect it looks more so like glitter bc the gel is tacky(sticky)
