People have feelings about this and that’s ok. I was one of those in the 90’s. Still active duty, finished a bachelors and a masters, obtained a commission. Some ppl just need a chance.

They should immediately require them receive their GED in their 1st year & encourage them to continue a collage ed or a trade school but make it debt free for them.

They had the same program in the 2000s. I came in through it. Had to cut a 50+ and had to get a GED to reenlist. It’s called ACE
