@createaplatewithdina: Japchae is a korean stir fried noodle dish with veggies and meat that’s tossed in a sweet and savory sauce. This is how i make it⬇️ Recipe: 12 oz sweet potato glass noodles 16 oz ribeye steak 1 red bell pepper 1 medium onion 4 oz shiitake mushrooms 1 medium carrot 3-4 scallions 2 cups baby spinach 3 eggs Salt Oil Sauce 6 garlic cloves 7 Tbs soy sauce 4 Tbs sesame oil 4 tbs brown sugar 2 Tbs honey 2 Tbs sesame seeds, plus more for garnish 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black pepper 1. In a Pyrex cup make the sauce. Combine minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, honey, black pepper and salt. Mix. Set aside. 2. Thinly slice ribeye steak against the grain. Place into a bowl, add about 2-3 tbs of the sauce and mix. Allow to marinate while prepping vegetables. 3. Cut bell pepper & carrot into match sticks. Cut onion in half then slice thinly. Next, slice shiitake mushrooms and cut scallions into 4. Set veggies aside. 4. Beat 3 eggs with a pinch of salt. Into a large skillet on medium low heat, pour about 1 Tbs of oil and add in the beaten eggs. Tilt pan to spread into an even layer and cook until egg crêpe is set. Then gently flip it over and cook for about a minute. Removed from pan, allow to cool a bit. Fold crepe in half and then again in half and cut into thin strips. Set aside for later. 5. To a large Wok (or pot) add water and boil the sweet potato noodles per package instructions, drain, rinse under cold water, drain and set aside into a large bowl. 6. To the wok on medium-high heat add 1 Tbs oil, sliced ribeye and shiitake mushrooms and a good pinch of salt. Sauté about 5 minutes or until beef is no longer pink. Remove into bowl with noodles. 7. To the wok add some oil, sliced onion, white part of scallion, and a pinch of salt. Sauté 2 mins. Next, add bell pepper, carrot, the green parts of the scallion, and pinch of salt. Sauté 3-4 mins. Add the spinach with pinch of salt and cook until it wilts. 8. Now add the cooked egg strips, noodles and beef back to the wok and pour in the sauce. Toss together and cook about 1-2 mins. Remove from heat, garnish with sesame seeds and enjoy immediately or refrigerate and enjoy it cold. #japchae #noodles #koreannoodles #chapchae #japchaerecipe #koreanfood #koreanrecipes #EasyRecipes
