Came home one day from the grocery store to find our dog dangling from the couch. A tag on the collar got stuck. Safe to say she’s been a nakey doggie ever since.

I woke up to my dog’s collar stuck in his jaw..luckily I woke up and got it off.Never bought another one, they have harnesses for walks.

I grew up with horses and my grandpa saying to never leave them haltered because they can get hung up so i naturally did the same for my dogs.

Our dogs were just playing, his mouth caught her collar and he started to panic and spin. She was on the verge of passing when we finally able to separate them. It was terrifying.

I bought a 10 pack of breakaways for my one cat 2 years ago. I have 3 left cause she gets stuck and loses it. All I know is I'm happy they work.

We have the electric fence buried for our dogs and we used to have regular collars for them until they got stuck one day and almost killed eachother.

Okay but what if you use leads outside? I don’t want them running and it break off and they get lost 😭 One of my dogs is deaf and it really scares me
