Disagree. I hold the paperback with the anxiety of cracking the spine. And it would still give you black eye 😅

Hardbacks are a godsend for those of us with nerve damage who struggle to hold open paperbacks

Kindle. Then I buy the hard back if I really want to support the author.

I was literally debating getting paperback or hardback of throne of glass and I think I shall go with paperback… but the hardbacks are so beautiful🥹😍

I prefer hardbacks as I’m not worried about creasing the spine and I feel like I can put them in my bag without damaging. Plus, makes me look fancy 😂 (I do have plenty of paperbacks too)

I like hardback because I take the dust jacket off and when I read the spine doesn't crease

disagree at least with hardback you can read it without the book closing and with paperback you can't

I read only on the couch with a medium size pillow on my lap and the book goes on the pillow. I can't do it any other way 🤷♂️

I read it in hardcover. The plus was that i could just splay the book open without needing to hold the book..
