I absolutely remember during Covid when DoorDash really got big I could tip 10$ easily. But now the food so high plus a big tip I’m paying 50$ for a meal I could just go get for 15$

I stopped ordering because I don’t leave a tip on the app I tip in cash which is at least $10. But they come with an attitude before I can hand them the tip. So I just stopped.

the drivers are beefing with the customers while customer’s beef with the drivers but the real problem is the app itself. Ppl will be able to tip more if they didn’t already have to pay double

I think Doordash takes like a 30% cut from the restaurant that's why the restaurant rises the price so they can still make money. So Doordash is get money from both the customers and restaurant. 🤔

It's what I been saying. Not only is the food from the restaurants higher on DD, DD also has like 5 other fees long before you get to the tip. A $12 meal can easily turn into $50 with tip added.😒

Rideshare and Gig apps were only lucrative during the pandemic. Paying double for something that u can go get in person is crazy. Underpaying the drivers. Tearing up your car not worth it.

Full time DoorDasher here and I haven’t dashed in a week 😩 I accept all orders no matter the pay but it gets exhausting. Waiting 30 minutes for $2 with no communication from the restaurant is insane
