my dog gets excited and puts her head through the harness calmly, gets out the door and instantly pulls. shes 12 so we are unsure what we can change

My dog has a leash on all the time unless she is in her crate. It in no way makes her excited. 😆 so thankful for that advice when she was younger.

My 6 month FRL is a mare getting collar and lead on, she lunges for them and goes crazy! Will try sitting & waiting till she is calm enough....I predict I'll be there a while though before we leave 🙈
