@everyday_elyanna: Replying to @Diahan JonahMae How I teach Yanna effectively? Many are asking me this question, so her’s what i do. This is based on our experiences. 💛 Babies and toddlers learn best by imitation and repetition. Everyday I incorporate learning through play, kahit Yanna knew it already. I keep on teaching her repeatedly while we are playing. Just like in the video, we’re just supposed to color the flashcards but instead I added a twist and we identify bigger numbers and even spell. Also, everyday we tried to read a book, or if not kahit yung mga nakasulat lang sa mga dadaanan namin or makikita, I will let Yanna read it. It’s one way also of enhancing her vocabulary. 💛 Know when your child is ready to learn. If you try teaching them something too soon, you might both end up getting frustrated. When we are playing a game in her iPad that gives a score, I ask Yanna if she can read the numbers by herself. In this case, we are having fun playing the game, at the same time she’s learning how to read bigger numbers kahit hundreds pa yan. When I knew she’s interested to learn bigger numbers, I taught her right away and repeatedly para di niya makalimutan and she can get used to reading bigger numbers. Sa video, i tried teaching her reading number in thousands but i did not push through since I think she’s not yet ready to learn it. Baka malito siya pag pinagpatuloy ko pa.
