@ryanmichaelcarter: This is a Cold IPA, a new-age West Coast-style beer that is loaded with hops. It’s crisp and light-bodied but packed to the brim with explosive hop flavor and aroma. It’s double dry-hopped with Citra, Cascade, and Simcoe which pack it full of citrus and dank pine-type flavors. A small amount of flaked rice is added to this recipe to help increase the fermentability and increase that crispiness. This beer is one of my all-time favorite recipes in my Winter Beer Pairing Series. Cold IPAs pair perfectly with strong, spicy foods like Curry, but surprisingly also pair well with sweet desserts like apple pie or carrot cake.
