We call a 24 hour clock military time. I know how to read it but don’t use it in normal life. People here do say quarter til or quarter after though

I think that the younger generation don’t use 1/4 to, 1/4 past etc. because they learn to tell time on a digital clocks as opposed to a clock real ⏰

The quarter to/half past may be regional. I use those terms regularly. My phone is in 24h, but that is mostly because I am forcing myself to learn.
