🌷Mini Guide for Tulips season in the Netherlands⬇️ 🌷Although blooming starts around Mid March, best time to visit is from Mid April – beginning of May 🌷Places to visit: 🌷Middelharnis: a town in Western Netherlands on the island of Goeree-Overflakkee just 1.5 hrs away from Amsterdam. Totally worth the visit, but you’d need a car and would suggest to stay at least 2 days, every 5 mins we drove we’d found a new field I visited 2 years ago and found plenty of fields open to the public with no signs stating to not enter, I’ve been informed this has changed in the recent years so best to make sure before going that the fields are allowed to enter, if not you can appreciate them from the distance too, equally beautiful 😍 🌷You can also cycle/drive around the following areas to view the fields: * Schagen * Anna Paulowna * Hillegom  🌷 @keukenhof in Lisse (40 mins away from Amsterdam) if you don’t want to rent a car is a good option as it’s accesible by public transportation. This park features more than 7 million flowers and will open from March 21 - May 12 and entrance starts at €17,50 or varies from €30-36 with round trip bus transportation depending on pickup location The only downside if you ask me (for pics) is that you don’t see the endless rows as in the other fields. You have to be creative to find angles where it looks like you are immersed in them 🌷 @famflowerfarm, one field where you can find all the tulip colors and props (hats, boots, flowers, baskets, etc) to take all the pretty pictures you want 💐 Make sure to to book your visit in advance as you can’t walk in 🌷 Other fields you can visit with a fee are: The Tulip Barn, De Tulperi, Tulip Store Show Garden, BloomEffects, Pluktuin Noordwikerhout, De Kop van Noord 🌷 There is a flower parade on April 20th from Noordwilk 🌷 And last you can plan your visit before going by checking Flowermap.nl to for a better idea on whether the fields are blooming or not . . . #amsterdam #netherlands #sunset #sunsetlover #bdteam #tulips #tulipseason #tulip #spring #springseason #beautifuldestinations #netherlandsspring #springnetherlands #keukenhof #lisse #visitnetherlands - @dwanders
