How will the motor still run if the crank reluctor is not showing rpm’s ? So if that pin shears it will destroy pushrods, and then shuts down…

This has to be from the crank bolt not being properly torqued after a repair because that pin is for alignment and then held in place by the bolt.

correct me if I'm wrong That's the crank trigger on the back of that gear did it actually start with self of oil or just lose crank signal
