They did this to me before surgery! They yes with a smiley 😃 face on the surgery knee and no with a ☹️on the other knee.

1) They marked my knee before surgery. A student did the preps. They were gonna put me under but I stopped them to tell that it's the wrong knee 😅

Actually happened to me. They marked the knee, asked a few times to confirm and when I fell asleep they said someone put a towel on the marking and started prepping the wrong knee. No one realized it
