@bratbustersparenting: I tell my parents when I’m coaching them, if you don’t make a mistake, you’re gonna be the first one. All parents make mistakes in coaching, like when I’m learning something, of course, you always make mistakes when you’re learning stuff. That’s part of the process. You’re not supposed to get this right. Parenting is not about perfection. Life is messy, parenting is messy. You’re gonna make mistakes. I made mistakes, lots of them. But it all worked out and actually worked out in our favor because I wanted my kids to know it’s okay to make mistakes so long as you fix them.
