Personally as a brown person the light colours are usually better looking with lipliner so I like to see them with liner

i so agree with you and always think that. using a lip liner makes it difficult to get an idea of the lipstick shade.

Same 🙄 thin lips & pale skin..... using a lip liner can pretty much replace needing a lipstick, just add gloss 🤷♀️

That’s such a good point, I too have thin lips, and don’t use liners! Surely it reflects a whole other colour? 🤷🏼♀️

I have a double lip line so I always apply a liner that matches my natural lip color before any lipstick. I show products the way I wear them 🤷♀️

i agree but i guess for people who wear dark lip liners with their lipsticks anyway it is a more accurate representation of how the lipstick will look

Yeah, I hate it too. Also, I’ll look at multiple reviews of a lipstick and it always looks different because of beauty filters. Annoys me endlessly.

I agree wholeheartedly! And if they want to do it with liner then do both! I don’t wear liner and have no idea what the lipstick looks like after their “review”
