I don’t budget biweekly though I budget monthly. I know how much I spend every month not how much I spend every two weeks.

If you budget based on 2 paychecks a month, that’s 24 paychecks a year. If you’re paid every other Friday it’s 26 paychecks a year. It is extra.

Sometimes when you have deductions from your benefits, no deduction will be taken off from that 3rd paycheck which means you take home more money.

I love this take! I do treat a 3rd paycheck as an “extra” check for expenses that are only paid quarterly or every 6 months. Works well for me!

It should only be groceries/gas though that has to be stretched… bills should be able to be covered with the first two paychecks as normal. So anything leftover after groceries and gas should be extra
