@eatingwithkirby: [ 🏔️SUN PEAKS ULTIMATE GUIDE 🏔️ ] If you’re planning a mini trip to Sun Peaks for the summer or winter, here are some of my tips and tricks as well as food reccos so you make the most out of your time here ☝🏻 ⭐️ First off, @sunpeaksresort is the 2nd largest ski area in Canada and is recognized as one of the top ski resorts in North America! It’s about a 4-5 hour drive from Vancouver, 3 hour drive from Kelowna, and 45 min drive from Kamloops 🚘 [ HOTEL ] @sunpeaksgrand - I stayed here and it was fantastic. The rooms were spacious enough and clean, and the restaurant located inside the hotel called Mantles Restaurant also exceeded my expectations! I dined there three times and each time was great!! Their breakfast buffet especially has SOOO many options 👌🏻 [ FOOD ] @verticalcafe - definitely a MUST check out spot when at Sun Peaks! The owners Rob and Tania are not only kind but so determined to make Vertical Cafe a gathering place for everyone that lives and visits Sun Peaks. All their food is cooked from scratch, and in the summertime, 80-90% of their menu comes from ingredients within 100km! Their menu is also SUPER catered to people with any kind of dietary restrictions 🥹 @ohanasunpeaks - take a free 5-10 min shuttle to find the cutest, most abundant market + deli! They even sell already prepared home cooked meals so you can pop it in the oven or stove at your suite or Airbnb @babydohssunpeaks - Their freshly made Maple Bacon donuts are literally to-die for! 💯 @oyajapanesecuisine - shocked to find super fresh sashimi and nigiri at Sun Peaks 😱 They also have a huge selection of premium sake and Japanese Whiskies 😏 Sunburst Bar + Eatery - Ride the Sunburst Express chair lift to the top and get the freshly made cinnamon buns from Sunburst Lodge! [ ACTIVITIES ] - Tubing - Snowshoeing - Skiing ⛷️ - they have 137 runs so you will never get bored!! They even have a 5km downhill ski green run - Alpine Fondue and Night Ski 🌟 - only suitable for those who can do blue runs - Golfing (summer) - Mountain Biking (summer) @hellobc #explorebc #sunpeaks #kamloops #sunpeaksresort
