@humanebroward: This is breaking our hearts! 🥺 Zena is a gentle and kind 2-year-old pup who was completely mistreated by her previous owner. She is grossly underweight and showing signs of a life of abuse and neglect. Zena has been starved, her nails overgrown, and small wounds all over. 🙏💔 Despite all of her hardships, she craves love and attention. During a check-up, our vets found foreign objects in Zena’s belly. She underwent surgery to remove tin foil and plastic. Zena is recovering in a caring medical foster home and isn’t ready for adoption yet.
