You can transition slowly by mixing milk into formula a little at a time over a few weeks. But white stool sounds like a bigger issue (liver or gall)

Just sharing this for other people! White/pale stool should always be evaluated by your pediatrician as it can indicate liver or bile duct issues!

We switched to lactose free milk and it’s been so much better! We also use the Nido formula for toddlers when we are traveling

Controversial but kids don't need milk.. as long as they are eating other dairy products such as cheese, yogurt, butter, etc that's plenty!
