I fed this to my Great Dane his whole life. He lived to a healthy age of 13 before I had to put him down 😢. I approve of Taste of the Wild.

Does nobody know that the AAFCO and WSAVA only recommend 5 brands of pet food due to canine and feline cardiomyopathy? Mainly due to legumes

Read the American label. It’s not similar to acana and runs a lot cheaper here in the us

My Rotty loves taste of the wild but she keeps putting on weight despite eating less than her required amount on the bag. Vet is recommending I switch.

Acana was bought out my Mars tho so I would say that rating would go down once the ingredient changes are to be made which is likely

Acana is WAY more expensive in the US. Acana is also a primarily a grain free food which we know causes heat failure especially in large breeds.

When we got our Boston Terrier she was on this, her farts would clear the room, and her stools were difficult to pick up. Put her on Acana which helped a bit, but not great for her either

I have heard that many don’t like Acana beacuse it is to much peans and maize in it. Do you think that the high protein is too much for a small dog?
