a fun fact is that graham actually did use to be on multiple times a week during his channel 4 days, and yes all the guests were d-listers but it had a very fun late night vibe

Wogan used to be on 3 nights a week on BBC One in the 80s/90s and they ran out of decent guests often - and it was live so they couldn't get around boring guests with editing.
