I never recline my seat because I don’t want to be rude to the person behind me.

So many in the comments have no idea that some people deal with chronic back pain and that the ever so subtle recline makes a huge difference on the pain travel can cause. People don’t always travel for fun, sometimes it’s the best option out of a lot of bad options for work, funerals, etc.. stop being snobby about the half inch you may be losing because it’s a small price to pay to save someone weeks of pain recovery they would have if they had to spend over an hour fully upright with no leg room. The recline is a big deal.

Last row. No extra leg room, limited recline. Noise from the galley and toilets. -10/10

The worst are 3 row around the bathroom. Every flush sprays toilet water mist plus other foul odors into the cabin.

I will happily recline my seat. If you’re worried about it taking your space, recline your own seat so you have more space.

I'm wayyyyy more comfortable sitting straight up (reclining hurts)... so I'm ok with no recline. However, if my little TV doesn't work imma be VERY upset. 😁

The first exit row doesn’t recline, but has a ton of extra legroom, which is great. I never recline my seat. It’s rude to the person behind me

You need to recline especially on long haul flights in economy. Unfortunately the seating/spacing is so ridiculous and $$$

The Canadian airline I work for as an FA has exit pro seats that recline so this is definitely not a worldwide thing

The best to me is always the very back row by the bathrooms because statistically they are safest :)

How does flying not frighten you every time I get on a plane I feel like the only option is that it crashes

we flew in a no recline aisle for 2.5 hrs and my back hurt after. I just need that slight tilt after injury. so now I book as far out as I can to avoid that.

Oh that first row of exit sounds perfect because I never recline and I hate it when the person in front of me does 😅

What about the very first row vs 2nd row on premium economy? Pros and cons?
