@pauldiazins: I have an interesting perspective on handling crime and punishment. I'm into the idea of shaming for minor offenses – think of making troublemakers wear jumpsuits or cleaning up highways. It's also a good idea if they even have talks about their mistakes, kind of blending confession with teaching the public. For more serious stuff, like major graffiti, I am not against cutting a finger as a punishment.
