@ssslayer2000: … as cool as it was to sit and watch this worm, its invasive pretty much everywhere and can cause ecological harm to native flora and fauna. The jumping earth worm stays at the top of soil, eating at organic matter which destroys soil chemistry. This makes it difficult for forrests to support all of the native plants that once thrived. They also cause soil erosion near bodies of water, damaging native fish and amphibian habitat. If youre fishing with worms, I recommend finding an alternative.
