They really are strict. I had a valid ID but it wasn’t a REAL ID yet (I still had 2 years to get it) and they almost didn’t serve me.

U can’t even purchase alcohol if ur ID is expired at a regular store. Mine was expired and the guy wouldn’t let me buy a gas station beer.
