have you considered storing the reclaim in a bucket 1st? letting it homogenize a bit using powder etc.

You should separate the clay out into smaller/ less deep buckets allowing it to dry out faster and hopefully that helps

Use molds to dry the clay before put in the press. Or you can use an automatic press
