@khadajeee: WASH DAY PART 2: Shampoo, deep condition & steam This is the next step in our wash day routine. After letting the pre-poo sit in my hair for 20 mins, it’s time to wash it out. ⭕️ Make sure to save this so you can come back to them when you’re ready to follow the steps. - I started by rinsing out the pre-poo out of my hair first - Then I went in with the @PATTERN hydration shampoo to wash my hair. I always wash my hair bent over the bath, so my hair is basically upside down lol - I use the base of my fingers to scrub my scalp and I make sure I smoothe the shampoo through my hair. Making sure not to get it tangled - I rinse the shampoo off and use my jersey fabric to wrap my hair. I don’t dry it off, I just wrap my hair. This minimizes single strand knots - Next step is to deep condition. Today I’m using @MielleOrganics Rosemary mint strengthening hair masque. I apply it to each section from roots to ends and spray water if I feel my hair is getting dry. - I detangle again with the deep conditioner, separating my hair in little sections, virtually and horizontally. I twist each section away and repeat this step through my whole head - I put a shower cap on and then proceed to use the steamer. I steam for 20 mins and then I rinse off! - Next step is to moisturize my hair Watch out for part 3 to see the next step! PS: - For shampoo, on other days.
