The amount of
The amount of "go back to the kitchen" comments I've received over the years is honestly insane. Most of the time, I laugh them off and move on. But the truth is that for many women around the world, these attitudes aren't jokes-they're a lived reality. Many women are raised to believe that they belong only in the kitchen, only in the home, or only within the narrow boundaries that others have set for them. And that mindset doesn't stop there, it seeps into every aspect of their lives. It shapes what they believe they're capable of, what opportunities they pursue, and how much space they feel allowed to take up in the world. I can attest to this because of the countless messages I've received from women across the globe. Women who feel trapped. Women who have been discouraged from pursuing education, careers, sports, leadership, or simply the things that make them feel alive. Women who have been forced into boxes they never chose for themselves. The purpose behind this page has never been to tell women who they should become. It's been to remind them that they don't have to compromise who they are, their values, or their ambitions because of other’s expectations. You do not have to shrink yourself to make other people comfortable. You do not have to accept limitations that were placed on you by culture, fear, or other people's opinions. And you do not have to confuse cultural restrictions with what Islam actually teaches. Islam was never sent to diminish women. It was sent to honour them, empower them, and grant them rights that many societies denied them. The challenge is learning to distinguish between the teachings of our faith and the cultural narratives that are often spoken in its name. What I love most is that when women watch my videos, I don't want them to see me. I want them to see themselves. Because this was never really about getting on a galloping horse and shooting a bow. What matters is what it represents. It's about challenging limitations. It's about breaking stereotypes. It's about having the courage to pursue something that others said wasn't meant for you. When a woman watches my videos, I don't want her to think, "Wow, look what she's doing." I want her to think, "If she can do that, what am I capable of?". Because every woman has her own version of the horse and bow. For some, it's pursuing higher education. For others, it's starting a business, pursuing a career, travelling, playing a sport, speaking up, taking up space, or having the courage to dream bigger than they've been told they're allowed to. My hope has always been that this page serves as a mirror, not a spotlight. A reminder that the things you admire in others often exist within you too. So take up space. Pursue what inspires you. Keep showing up. Keep trying. Be the reason other women think they can do it too.♥️ #خيل_وخياله🐎 #horsepower #horseriding #modesty #womenempowerment
