@bee.jeweled.coop: Did you catch my story about washing Violet’s tush? Yep, that was fun — NOT! I switched the chicken’s feed out a couple months ago, curious if we were really using the best option out there. But, the switch led to lower egg production and poopy bums 💔 It got me thinking about the real value of the feed we choose. Before deciding to partner with Scratch & Peck this year, I needed to know - beyond a shadow of a doubt - that I was choosing the best for my flock. I don’t believe in sharing products that I won’t stand behind 100%. I saw an immediate difference when returning to @scratchandpeckfeeds . It wasn’t just about less bum washes (thank goodness for that!), but the girls are happier and egg production is back up. Even my 7 year old Maran started laying again this week 🥚 I really do believe that Scratch & Peck is the perfect feed for our chickens. It’s soy-free, packed with grub protein and fortified with the nutrients needed for a healthy flock. Want to give it a try? Where are you located? We have issues with extreme weather all year round. -25 in the winter some nights and 110 for weeks straight in the summertime. Wanting to expand my chicken coop!
