When people say "we're leaving in 5 minutes" it's usually an estimate, there's wiggle room in an estimate. 300 seconds is exact, no wiggle room

300 seconds counts down a lot faster than 5 mins. 5 mins is 5.......... .... 4........ etc. 300 seconds is already 290 before we even stand up!
