If you’re off the clock you’re a free agent and set your own rate. Send the manager a bill CC HR for whatever you deem your time worth. They can either pay or face a labor lawsuit

My workplace won’t let you do anything if you’re off the clock. If they need you, they’ll override the system and clock you back in and out themselves
