you need a valid ID, most of the time it's not about age it's about having an id that isn't expired. it can cost $$$$$ if the atc catches you not

that’s so dumb, my restruant told us to ID anyone that looks younger than 30. if you can visibly tell they are over 21, no need to do so.

We check for validity, not for age 🙏😭 I get at least 3 customers angry a shift for checking their id

Yeah it’s annoying and we do get rude customers who do yell bc we check them but most of the time it’s company policy

One thing I do understand is carding people that look under 21 especially w/this new generation. What I don’t understand is carding somebody who is very clearly 50+😭

Not worth losing your job. Someone was fired for not checking a 70 year old woman’s ID. Don’t matter how old you are because it’s still the law

I’ve never been refused alcohol for expired license, but I was for a lottery ticket. I don’t understand why it matters for that.my DOB isn’t changing.
