@thats_just_jess: Trying to cause a scene over a banana is wildly immature. But because of the boundaries I have in place with her thats the level she has to stoop to in order to try and manipulate who she wants to portray me as a human. I will not control or demand how my family chooses to interact with my mother in law. I will ask that when in situation that I have to be around her that if she chooses to try and cause a scene that we not react. Thats what she wants. She wants to be able to say “see Jess is xyz”.
