It’s actually a block of digestive leftovers.(like squid beaks)It’s actually passed through fecal matter but isn’t poop at all. When washed up it’s hard like a rock.

I’ve always heard it referred 2 as whale vomit, tho there r some opinions that think it may b a fecal mass or obstruction. But I’ve never heard of this,or seen it actually. & now I can’t unsee it 😖😁
