it really depends on the costs and interest rates given. most offset accounts have some fee attached with it. it may also effect the interest rate

Great post but you forgot about the costs associated with an offset account. An offset account is anywhere between 120 - 300 a yr.

I’ve heard app if you pay ur loan on IO with an offset and put all ur money there it’ll be paid faster than paying P&I , is that true ?
