@tylerpath: Imho, I believe the incline dumbbell bench press is the best chest exercise from a hypertrophy perspective and thus should be prioritized. It’s generaly safer than flat bench press since the risk of internal rotation is lower, requires less weight for the same stimulus, it’s isolateral to help minimize muscle imbalance, it’s more lengthened focused than machine incline presses to better bias chest over triceps and enable stretch mediated hypertrophy and it biases the upper chest which is arguably is underdeveloped on lots of lifters.
