it’s fine with an Irish/Scottish/Aussie accent… the “U” comes across as an “OO” or a “UH”… N.America uses the hard “U” making it more serious a word

Aussie here. Went to a fancy private school that banned the word so we would call out “C U Next Tuesday!” “Oh I can’t I’m busy Tuesday” then “C U Next Thursday?!” “Yes! C U Next Thursday!!” 👍🏻😂😁
