A jeweler won’t buy the lab grown back. They will buy a real diamond back.

But who mines the diamonds? Is it poor slave kids? If it is I prefer lab grown.

Lab grown profit margin is way off base. They actually lose value.

Real diamonds have serial numbers on the side also. Leo’s from Kay jewelers all have serial numbers

Diamonds are artificially priced as Russia has the largest world reserve if in which they were to release them onto the market it would make diamonds worthless.

The amount of lab growns that are unmarked & in the mix with the naturals…. No reason to pay that much $$

My jeweler has a $15,000 machine that can tell if a diamond is real or lab grown..if you have a good jeweler they know!

It’s the emotion behind a natural diamond. 💎 I love the part of nature that produces Diamonds. Lab grown diamonds seem foreign to me.

The idea of wanting a “natural diamond”is all marketing. Like wearing real fur, natural diamonds will eventually be out bc of how they’re sourced.

Meh. I equate it to real Louis Vuitton bag vs fake bag. There will always be someone that can spot a fake… always. Real diamonds have imperfections & any jeweler can tell real or fake diamond

I think if you have the means and can buy an ethically mined diamond then great, but I have a lab and don’t regret it - the cut, color and clarity is perfect and we paid $5K. I also don’t plan to sell

It hasn’t been forever the status symbol it’s just been really good marketing. Think about it the same way a 100 years ago pale skin was a status symbol of class. Right now it’s irrelevant

Synthetic, mass produced, lab diamonds are crap, worth $100 a carat in the next 2 years. Not a flex, ANYONE can attain that. If you’re that hard up on money, just get a CZ and stop trying to front.

They’re actually not scarce. It’s a false scarcity started by jeweling companies. The value of diamond is all essentially made up and a product of good marketing.

It’s GOT to be REAL for me‼️I’d rather have a quartz crystal than a lab diamond‼️the diamonds only number one because of its hardness level. clear quartz is the next strongest. That’s beautiful too

One of the biggest misconceptions is that an "expensive" stone automatically means better quality. That's not the case! Many retail stores mark up their prices by 300% or more.
